Our activities break down in three parts.
Professional Hosting
Through our professional hosting label XLS Hosting (www.xlshosting.nl) we offer a range of hosting solutions for customers with high demands regarding flexibility, uptime and service.
The flagship product of XLS Hosting is the Xen VPS. A VPS is a completely separated part of a server with its own root access. This is often safer and cheaper than buying or renting an stand-alone server. Our Xen VPSs run on a completely redundant cluster with all data stored safely on a SAN.
XLS Hosting also provides advise and networking services to clients with specific demands or extremely heavy systems.
Software Development
We develop innovative hosting and network software. We do this for our own use, for our clients and for public distribution. Examples of projects are the development of advanced server monitoring software and the development of management and failover software for server clusters.
Our biggest public project is OpenPanel (www.openpanel.com), this is an open source server control panel that will be released into the market during 2008. We expect a significant demand for a safe, cheap and user friendly alternative for Plesk, cPanel and DirectAdmin.
Hosting Outsourcing and Acquisition
Because of our experience in ISP automation and our flexible infrastructure we are extremely capable in advising and supporting other hosting companies. Several other ISPs have outsourced the provision of infrastructure and the delivery of system administration services to us.
If an ISP owner wants to spin off its hosting activities we can smoothly take over and integrate almost any hosting portfolio. Our approach is based on minimal interruption for the customers, the only thing they should notice is an improvement in the service level.
From the start of 2007 we have been the most active company on the Dutch market for ISP acquisitions. Through these acquisitions we have already added thousands of satisfied customers.
